PSHE

Safety, Caring, Achievement, Resilience, Friendship.

SCARF is the scheme we use for our PSHE and RSE curriculum it is created by Coram Life Education. This curriculum supports health, wellbeing, relationships and drugs education for children 'helping children make healthy choices'. We use the subheadings mentioned above to discuss topics such as friendships or personal well-being in our classes in weekly PSHE sessions. The curriculum uses a character named 'Harold' who is a giraffe, he often pops up in videos to support our PSHE learning and challenges the children's thoughts.

To support these discussions every year we have a Life Education Bus run by Coram Life Education come to our school and deliver an interactive PSHE session with each class.
